Michael Adams holds a degree in economics and is a professional grant writer. He has over 25 years of senior level management experience in not-for- profit and for-profit, including media companies, museums, associations, sports clubs and directing high-level private production and media holding companies. He managed multi million dollar donations and raised millions through private donations and public/private grants. Michael received international recognition for his contributions to interactive 3D digital media applied to web sites and touch screen technology.

Ron Bremner has close to 50 years’ experience in marketing communications. He has worked in the U.K., the U.S.A. and Canada, holding senior positions at major advertising agencies and representing the advertising industry at CRTC Hearings. Ron was president of the federal government agency of record and Vice President of Canada’s broadcast audience measurement service, where he headed up the Television and Radio Divisions, and spearheaded the development and introduction of electronic measurement in Canada. Shanjay Kailayanathan is a 2022 Software Engineering graduate of Ontario Tech University. He is also the founder and CEO of Axccessiom Technologies, a company developing technologies for improved accessibility. Shanjay is developing AI products to increase road and vehicle safety and is building a driver assistance system that can be utilized by people with disabilities. Shanjay volunteers as a member of the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee and has been a guest speaker at Rotary and a mentor at Ontario Tech Brilliant Catalyst for other students also interested in starting their own businesses. As an Engineer and young Entrepreneur, he is determined to make this world a better place through the use of technology.

Joan Kerr is an entrepreneur and consultant with expertise in sustainable development, community engagement, design thinking, and internet governance. She is the founder of the Foundation for Building Sustainable Communities (FBSC), with experience in facilitating public participation and has organized and hosted exhibits and conferences raising environmental awareness and self-sufficiency. Joan is focused on innovative solutions for community development and represents IEEE Smart Village Program VP North America Regional Working Group; Public Interest Registry: Advisory Council; and is Former Chair, ICANN, Not for Profit Operations Constituency Committee.

Gregory Milosh is a Business Administration graduate of Ryerson with 32 years’ work experience in Oshawa, first as Material Control Manager at General Motors of Canada and then as the Purchasing Manager at Durham College. Greg has presented several Oshawa performances by Canada’s leading ballet companies. He is a life-long resident of Oshawa and feels that the city needs to raise its profile regionally and nationally. He is very interested in the performing and visual arts and feels that the addition of a bold/unique Oshawa sign will be a major asset to the city, a source of civic pride and a significant landmark and tourist attraction. Doreen Sjonger is an active Oshawa resident who recently retired from Business Office Manager at Insiteful Solution, a web design company in Markham. Doreen’s previous careers were dedicated to service for the vulnerable of all ages, as a Manager for Adolescent Services at Ontario Shores for Mental Health Services, counsellor at Durham Board of Ed and Program Supervisor with the Ministry of Community and Social Services overseeing Provincial Inspections and funding at Daycare, Group Home facilities and Resource Programs for Special Needs children throughout Durham Region, Northumberland, Peterborough & Kawartha Lakes Counties. Each summer she puts her well-known culinary talent to good use at a faith camp in Port Sydney.
